The Team
Who We Are
Dr. Meghan Lamoureux
Optometrist & Owner
Dr. Lamoureux grew up in southern New Hampshire and completed her undergraduate studies in Boston, MA at Fisher College and Suffolk University. External clinical rotations included working at the South End Community Health Center and at Eye Centers of South Florida.
While in optometry school, she was elected vice president of the Lion's Club. During her involvement, the club was able to organize enough fundraising to sponsor a children's book to be printed in braille by the National Braille Press (who work to help empower those who are blind). She completed her doctorate of optometry at the New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA in 2012. She continued her optometric training at the residency program at the Veteran’s Affairs hospital in Bedford, MA with a focus on ocular disease and geriatric care.
In her spare time, Dr. Lamoureux enjoys traveling, being outdoors, and spending time with family and friends. She is also an active member of the Mysticalligraphers Guild.
Dr. James Sanborn

Dr. Sanborn is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and has presented research posters at annual meetings and lectured at a NH state organization meeting. His areas of specialty include ocular disease, contact lens fitting and dry eye management.
Dr. Sanborn moved to Connecticut in 2013 with his wife, Dr. Meghan Lamoureux. Since then, they have enjoyed exploring the seacoast and hiking. His hobbies include playing guitar and piano, as well as more adventurous activities such as skiing, boating, and paragliding. He also has become an avid woodworker in his free time.

Sarah Wills
Office Administrator
now enjoying retirement!
A lifelong resident of Groton, Sarah had been committed to her community and to "staying local." She worked in several medical offices in the area before entering the eyecare field. Sarah's friendly, caring spirit are so missed already. We wish her the best in her next chapter.
